During Devstream 179, we showed off some new concept art previews for Warframe: 1999, including some of the first artistic stabs at Arthur, his Protoframe squadmate Aoi, and the nuclear powered Atomicycle! Arthur

A resolute and honorable warrior to his core, Arthur is the protagonist of Warframe: 1999 and a Protoframe of Excalibur. You’ll see the Quest largely through his eyes as you slice, dice and shoot your way through the Technocyte.

Aoi

Playful and capable of widespread destruction with her magnetic Abilities, Aoi is a Protoframe of Mag and Arthur’s comrade. When she’s not making “paper” cranes out of sheet metal or backing up her allies in battle, she can be found keeping the Atomicycles in perfect working order. Who better to bend things back into shape than a living magnetic field?

Atomicycle

If Arthur is a noble knight in shining armor, the Atomicycle is your valiant steed! With exponentially more horsepower than your average destrier, your Atomicycle will be the key for traversing Missions in 1999. But don’t expect a smooth ride from point A to point B, Tenno. Keep your guns at the ready while you cruise along the streets on your very own Atomicycle.
