TennoCon is only a few days away so we wanted to prepare a crash course for all Tenno. Whether you are attending TennoCon in person or tuning in from home, reading this guide will help you figure out just how to master your TennoCon 2017 experience.

The difficulty in writing such a guide should be obvious, TennoCon’s offerings are as diverse as Warframe’s player base! We wanted to find a way get across that TennoCon will have activities and panels to suit everyone’s interests, without overwhelming anyone. That being said let’s start with something a little more straightforward, shall we?

Tuning in to TennoCon 2017

If you are unable to attend TennoCon 2017 for any reason, (afraid of airplanes, afraid of Canadians’ syrupy sweet politeness, afraid of violating your house arrest etc.) fear not! We have you covered.

Leading up to TennoCon we are hosting 4 days of streaming by our Warframe Partners, tuning in to which will give you a chance to win prizes, interact with your fellow Tenno and just have an all-around great time. You might even get to catch a chance encounter with one of your favorite DE Community Coordinators! Or the new guy… he’s ok too. Needless to say, we are excited about TennoCon and want to do all we can to share that excitement with you before the big day.

This streaming week will end up in a very special Prime Time on July 6th at 6pm ET, featuring special appearances from Warframe Partners coming to TennoCon!! You do not want to miss this! Also, we have given our partners the keys to unlocking a super-secret code that hints at our big reveal for TennoLive on the day of the convention. We designed this to be a cooperative puzzle so working together as a community is key!

Now that is all well and good, but what about the when July 8th rolls around? With a controller in hand and a laptop at your side, a dedicated Tenno will spend the day in Warframe, hopefully visiting the Digital Pack Baro Ki’Teer relay, while tuned into our VIP Twitch streamers broadcasting live from TennoCon! Again, there will be many chances to win prizes and to get those sweet, sweet Glyph codes to add to your collections, or you know, send to your friends because sharing is caring. Be sure to stay glued to your video window at 6pm ET for Warframe’s biggest broadcast of the year, TennoLive 2017! Seriously, don’t miss this, it's like a really big deal.

After the convention, most of the panels that you weren’t able to stream live will be uploaded for your viewing pleasure on our YouTube channel. If anyone goofs up on stage, we will probably just leave it in the final cut because realism matters!

Trekking to TennoCon 2017

Now here is where things get a little tricky, but don’t worry, the great thing about TennoCon is that you can’t go wrong! TennoCon 2017 has two stages, a merch pit, an escape room, an archery range, consoles and PCs all running unreleased Warframe content, autograph sessions with YouTube and Twitch content creators, workshops, developer panels, a Warframe speedrunning contest, and much more!

With all of this information I know what you are probably thinking, how am I going to fit all of this in? Strategy is key Tenno, careful planning and attention: a Tenno’s best weapons. By carefully studying the guide and map in your entry bag, TennoCon success can be assured. Every attendee must first ask what type of experience they hope to have with the DE team and their fellow Warframe fans. Sadly, due to the nature of time and space, you will likely not be able to experience everything that TennoCon has to offer live as it happens. Not even if you are a Mirage main! It is still important to remember though, that some offerings will be available at a later date via our YouTube channel.

Be sure to make time for those great experiences that will not be. Sadly, locking yourself in your car will just not compare to the thrills and satisfaction of taking on the Landing Craft escape room. Landing an apple-core 3 pointer in your office waste bin won’t feel the same as landing a bullseye in Tenno archery. Google Translate will never teach you how to speak Orokin like Ordis will. There are just some experiences that you can only get at TennoCon. I would really urge everyone to try their very best at the Warframe speedrunning competition, we have something exceedingly sinister planned for the victor… don’t let that scare you away though! It’s a good thing!

If you are a Tenno who has always revelled in Warframe’s art and design, be sure to catch the art panel, if you want to see how Warframe’s epic soundtrack came together, the sound panel is a must. Comics fan? We even have a panel with Top Cow Productions and Warframe Creative Director Steve Sinclair on coming together to create the very first Warframe comic, which you will all receive just for showing up! There is tons to see and don’t worry, if you can’t make it to every panel, they will still be there after the convention ends.

The Real Mastery Depends on You

The best advice I could impart to all Tenno for TennoCon is to take some time to think about what is really most important to you about Warframe. I know it can be overwhelming, oh boy do I know it, but it's important to remember that this day is first and foremost to celebrate you! We hope to provide something for everyone because without our dedicated Tenno there would be no TennoCon... and Vay Hek would be out of a job. You do not want that guy asking to crash on your couch.
