Samsung Galaxy Store Launch

Warframe on Android is coming to the Samsung Galaxy Store on September 23rd! To celebrate the launch, players who download Warframe via the Galaxy Store and login from September 23 to October 7 will receive the Manegarmr Ephemera and the Valentine Color Palette for free via Inbox Message.

Soulframe Preludes 16: Of Hook and Hound

Exciting new features are coming to Soulframe in Preludes 16. We’re improving combat with tweaks to parrying, adding new Tempers, and reworking the Temper system for better player control. We’re also introducing new systems such as fishing, dynamic weather, and puppy bonding progression!

Epoch Operation: Taubound - Coming October 15th, 2026

Starting October 15th, the Warframe community will take part in a once-in-a-Star Chart in-game event known as Epoch Operation: Taubound. This is a unique Operation that will set us up to make the fated journey to Tau later in the year. Take a peek at our official teaser trailer below:

Tenno will gather in a new Relay during the event and work together to feed Praghasa as a means of opening a path to Tau. Everyone will be able to participate in these preparations regardless of experience level, however gameplay related to the Vessels will be for more seasoned/veteran Tenno who have met the necessary requirements.

Iceblade of Narin - Coming September 23

As mentioned by Warframe Creative Director Rebecca Ford, this update marks an important moment in the ongoing story of the Origin System. You'll learn about Narin’s role in the choice you made during The War Within and understand how the Zariman is involved, as well.

Banshee Rework

Coming with the Iceblade of Narin update is a Rework for Banshee, with changes to her kit that will make her more lethal and fluid. For a detailed look at the incoming changes to Banshee’s Abilities, please refer to our Dev Workshop.

As an added bonus, we are giving everyone who logs into Warframe between September 23 and October 7 a free Banshee Warframe and built Forma. This will allow you to experience the master of sound for yourself.

Narin

Narin is both our 66th — and first female ice-themed — Warframe! Originally conceived as a Rapier-wielding ice Warframe, the team decided she would be a perfect fit for our next update after considering potential narrative tie-ins. Her Abilities are detailed below:

**Please note that development is still ongoing for Narin so what was shown during the Devstream is still subject to change.**

Passive:
Killing enemies with Cold Status increases the chance for them to drop Cold Elemental Ammo which temporarily applies Cold Damage to weapons.

Ability 1:
Narin creates a barrage of swords that freezes enemies and adds Puncture to them which makes them extra vulnerable to Crits.

Ability 2:
Narin siphons Cold Status from frozen enemies, regenerating Shields and any excess regeneration is converted into Overguard.

Ability 3:
Narin takes flight with the wings of a crane and crashes into a targeted location, creating an area of effect that freezes enemies and increases their vulnerability to Cold damage from all sources.

Ability 4:
Narin begins an elegant sword dance where marked enemies may be hit with slashes from afar. This ability synergizes well with her third so she may dance, fly and crash, and continue the cold dance again.

Complementing her icy Abilities are some frosty munitions! Narin arrives with her signature Bow, Nunchasa, and signature Dual Pistols, Aksondol. You can see an Arsenal preview of them here. Narin will also have a new Emote, Armor, and a chic Alt Helmet (for Fashion Frame-conscious Tenno) which you can see in this preview.

Zariman

When Iceblade of Narin launches, you'll have access to a new node on Earth called Yuvan Peak. The moment of your decision at this location during The War Within Quest was frozen by Narin, as a means of keeping the Zariman's influence at bay. Cephalon Melica is here and will and offer Classroom Supplies — including Narin’s blueprints — which can be purchased using a new currency called Entropic Kuva. Watch the team’s explanation here.

Entropic Kuva can be earned by defeating new Eximus units on the Zariman.

New 6-Player Mode: Glacial Defiance

We’re excited to announce an ambitious new game mode called Glacial Defiance that requires 6 players to participate. Visit Cephalon Melica at Yuvan Peak to use Cryobells (also found there) to engage with these challenging, high-level Missions. Each week you can play this Mission type up to three times to earn Rewards found in the depths of the Zariman. Listen to Rebecca describe what happens upon completing them here.

These are not raids but rather a crazy twist on cooperative play borne from an idea originally pitched by WarframeFlo that Digital Extremes then iterated upon.

**It is our intention to launch this mode with the Iceblade of Narin update, however there is a chance that it may not make it and we will update you in advance should this be the case.**

This may be a somewhat bumpy experience as we experiment with this kind of gameplay, but we look forward to hearing your feedback and making changes as needed!

Banshee Threnodia

The master of sound will receive a Deluxe Skin designed by Mischka, which you can see in this glorious Arsenal preview. She also gets a matching Sentinel Skin and Glyph!

Qorvex Basilica

Qorvex arrives in true gargoyle-style in the Iceblade of Narin update. Check out his Arsenal preview and enjoy some fun trivia about his idle animation.

Citrine Prime

Resplendent, crystalline, and deadly, Citrine Prime arrives with the Steflos Prime and Corufell Prime to bolster your Arsenal. Take a look at her in-game model here. She also has some accompanying Prime Accessories: the Sphatica Prime Syandana, as well as the Spinele Prime Facial Accessory, Earpiece and Oculus.

We try to make Quality of Life changes with each of our bigger updates and while our patch notes will go into greater detail, here are some of them at a glance:

• Riven System Expansion: Offering stat combinations and locking.
• ETA/EDA Changes: Changes to the choices made before entering a Deep/Temporal Archimedea mission.
• Operator & Drifter Hair Shader Changes: Deeper and richer colors such as a true black instead of mid-grey.
• Metal Tinting Shader: Fixed dark colors appearing grey on metals.
• Cephalon Melica Expansion: Now a vendor with wares through her Classroom Supplies.
