Our first Devstream of 2026 engineered plenty of hype for our upcoming releases! We showed Vauban Heirloom in-game and announced his release date, discussed the technical upgrades to Warframe on Switch 2, revealed the release dates for our Android build, and spoke at length about new quality-of-life improvements. We also offered a sneak peek at the inky mysteries of our next update, The Shadowgrapher (coming this March).

Coming February 2026
Vauban Heirloom & Rework

Our next Heirloom is coming February 11th, based on an original design by Lua_Luminary!
Vauban’s Heirloom Skin allows you to stylize his fit, adhering to a philosophy of ‘drip or drown.’ Shed the sleeves, leave ‘em on, or take his jacket off altogether – whatever you think ‘flexes’ his fashion best. Like previous Heirlooms, his Collection includes an exclusive Heirloom Signa. For more details, including a full list of Collection items, head here.
We've also tinkered with this tactical mastermind and fine-tuned his Abilities for an updated kit. His "re-touch" includes the following changes:
General Changes
Passive
Tesla Nervos
Minelayer
Photon Strike
Bastile
Lunar New Year
Representing the Year of the Horse, Dagath blazes in with ghostly fury. Find a new suite of Customizations in the in-game Market soon, including the Dagath Yfari Skin, a new Kaithe Skin, a Floof, Sugatra, Glyph and more!

The Shadowgrapher - Coming March 2026

Our next update, The Shadowgrapher, is coming in March (after Vauban Heirloom)! To set expectations: it will not be a traditional "Echoes" update, meaning The Shadowgrapher is a standalone experience and not directly connected to The Old Peace. With that, let’s move on to a few key details revealed (or teased, depending on who you ask).
The Shadowgrapher brings a new game mode to Warframe, accessible via the ruined Vesper Relay in the Star Chart. From the lobby of the Relay, you’ll be able to access The Shadowgrapher’s new content by entering a mysterious, inky portrait. Learn more during our next Devstream in February!
64th Warframe: Follie
The Shadowgrapher will introduce our newest Warframe: Follie! We don’t have much to say about her now, so be sure to tune in to our next Devstream for a closer look at what she'll be bringing to the table (or canvas, if you will).
We took a look at Follie in-game and revealed a few of her idle animations, such as her Noble Rifle idle animation, Noble Thrown Weapon idle animation, and her Grimoire idle animation.
Gauss and Grendel Deluxe
Gauss and Grendel are receiving a matching pair of Deluxe skins, enhanced with an incredible mecha-style!

They’ll also be accompanied by their iconic signature weapons:

Last, but certainly not least, Gauss and Grendel will also receive their very own duo Emote. See it for yourself here!
You'll have to wait to see Grendel in-game, but we were able to show a special in-game Gauss Deluxe Skin video for your viewing pleasure, created by Stephen Gibson, Art Director at Sumo!
Upcoming Quality of Life Changes
It just wouldn’t be a proper Warframe Devstream without Quality of Life changes, would it?
We’ve got a variety of niceties inbound: new Adversary weapons, an updated Requiem Relic system, Riven Sliver changes, additional Operator/Drifter faces and much more:
Wall-Running 3.0
TennoCon 2025 teased the return of Wallrunning, and after many months of experimentation, we are no longer planning to implement this system! Our goal is to keep players in a fun parkour flow state, and we couldn’t get Wallrunning to work in a way that satisfied that aim.
That said, we’re taking a look at what other Parkour elements could be improved – along with other mechanics like vaulting – to make your movement less prone to interruption.
Awakening Remaster
Find golden rays and renewed lighting when your Warframe first awakens with our upcoming remaster of the Awakening Quest! We’ve given this Mission's skybox a significant pass, along with the lighting and flow of certain enemies (i.e. Grineer ships will be much more visible).
Tauron Strike Feedback
We’re actively reviewing and discussing feedback related to Tauron Strikes. While we didn’t have anything concrete to share on stream, we’re still receptive to, and aware of, your comments on them. Some issues that we're looking to resolve are tricky, so internal discussions are ongoing. In the meantime, we’re keen to continue hearing your suggestions, and appreciate your patience.
New Adversary Weapons
A few new Weapons have been loaded into the pipeline for the Adversary system, including Kuva, Tenet and Coda armaments! The following will arrive with our next update, The Shadowgrapher:
Accompanying these weapons is a dramatic change to our Requiem Relic system: the current Relics are being retired, and will be replaced by one singular Relic. This new Eterna Relic no longer has any weighted roll when acquiring Requiem Mods.
However, if you still wish to crack Requiem Relics the old-fashioned way, you can still purchase the older versions from Palladino (on Earth) with Riven Slivers.
Additionally, we're making the bonus Status roll on Adversary Weapons completely random! No longer are Status rolls weighed at lower values.
More Drifter/Operator Faces
More Operator and Drifter faces are in the pipeline, gearing up to go at a later date! For some previews, look no further!

Thanks for catching up with us! Until next time, Tenno…
