Ending Support for the Nintendo Switch Version of Warframe on the Nintendo Switch 2
Starting today with Voruna Prime Hotfix #8, all Nintendo Switch 2 players will be required to use the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Warframe in order to continue playing and having access to the game on their console. As we announced in our PSA about the Nintendo Switch 2 version, this means that the original Nintendo Switch version of Warframe is no longer supported on the Switch 2 console, and you should uninstall that version.
The Nintendo Switch 2 version takes advantage of the console’s hardware improvements and offers a variety of enhancements for your playing experience. Don’t delay! Faster load times, crisper visuals, richer audio, and so much more await you on the Nintendo Switch 2 version.
Removal of the Screenshot and Video Recording Feature
We have disabled the screenshot feature on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 consoles, in addition to Video Recording on the Nintendo Switch 2 (a feature already unavailable on the Nintendo Switch). This is a game-wide change, but we are exploring if we can re-enable the Screenshot feature in Captura — we will update you in a future post if the state of this feature changes.
Nintendo Switch Exclusive Changes and Fixes
- Re-enabled invites on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
- Fixed players getting stuck in an infinite loading screen when transitioning between missions in Temporal Archimedea.
- Re-enabled Clan Emblems on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
- Fixed crashing in the launcher if Nintendo Switch 2 sound settings were set to Mono Audio.
- Fixed being unable to access search functions while using a mouse.
- Fixed cases of audio tracks not looping correctly when idling in the launcher.
- Fixed lighting issues in Cetus.
- Fixed cases of touch icons appearing when using the mouse on Nintendo Switch 2.
- Fixed being unable to scroll with the right analog stick in Captura menus.
Changes

The following actions will no longer break the invisibility of Voruna's Shroud of Dynar, as they could cause synergy issues with equipment like Arcane Crepuscular:
- Strikes during Ulfrun's Descent
- Casts of Fangs of Raksh
- Made some collision optimizations in the Orb Vallis.

Updated Sickening Pulse's description to make its mechanics clearer.
- Now reads: "Emit a pulse that adds stacks to Status Effects already afflicting enemies. The damage of Slash, Heat, and Toxin effects, excluding those created by Sickening Pulse itself, are added together to create a new instance of the Effect with a refreshed timer."
- Updated Follie's passive description to indicate how long enemies stay Inked.
- Added the Community Customizations from Prime Time 470 and 478 for Oberon, Mirage, Equinox, Chroma, and Hydroid.
- Dissolving additional Stormbringer Mods before entering the stage of The Teacher quest will now count for Quest completion, to avoid eager Tenno accidentally becoming progression stopped.
Top Fixes
- Fixed Voruna Prime sliding around on all fours if a Tauron Strike is cast while Ulfrun's Descent is active.

Fixed Focus Badges being turned into Focus Hats when equipped on Voruna Prime with her Voidshell skin.
- Also fixed various offset issues on Voruna Prime with her Voidshell skin equipped.
- Fixed Bounty enemy levels being lower than intended if the Bounty Menu was opened on Steel Path mode while the available bounties rolled over.
- Fixed newly-created Cross Platform Save accounts not receiving Argon Crystals from missions if they were a Client.
- Fixed being able to unequip the Vinquibis as a Primary Weapon (while keeping it equipped as a Melee).

Fixed being unable to equip both the Glyph Prism and Clan Glyph Prism in your Gear Wheel.
- Also fixed Client's Clan Glyph Prism displaying the Host's Clan Glyph instead.
- Fixed Yareli using an Air Support charge while mounting Merulina resulting in the charge not being consumed.
- Fixed Nokko bypassing respawn volumes (i.e. resulting in him falling out of the map) if Reroot is cast while entering one.
- Fixed the symbols to unlock the Secret Labs in the Gas City Tileset not being visible.
- Fixed High Priority inbox messages not being focused on when force-opening the Inbox.
- Fixed not reviving on the next Descendia Infernum if a player died alone and squadmates joined right as the next Infernum started.

- Fixed Protea Prime not receiving Velox's signature weapon bonus.
- Fixed loss of function when using Nokko's Reroot before being jettisoned into space in The Jordas Precept quest.
- Fixed the Ignore system behaving inconsistently across platforms for Cross Platform Save accounts.
- Fixed Voruna Prime's wolf heads not being Primed when activating her Passive.
- Fixed Voruna's passive wolf head not glowing with the Voruna Medeina, Demionna, and Kuvael Drahkaanis skins.
- Fixed Step Ephemeras not applying during Voruna Prime's Ulfrun's Descent.
- Fixed the Enkaus' beam VFX appearing to ricochet off of surfaces when shot in close proximity.
- Fixed Atragraph Mods appearing like regular Mods when Chatlinked.
- Fixed the Hanteler Prime Syandana not dissolving while aiming down sights before entering the pause menu.
- Fixed the Coda Motovore being duplicated when applying a Hammer Skin if Rending Strike equipped.
- Fixed using Void Sling on specific tilesets resulting in broken cloth physics for various Syandanas.
- Fixed Cathode Grace's VFX not respecting custom tints on Gyre Prime.
- Fixed holster offset issues on the Elfhame Bow Skin.

- Fixed an issue when randomizing Voidshell Materials.
- Fixed purchasing a color palette in Follie's Sketchbook causing another Follie's sketchbook screen to be layered on top.
- Fixed chat boxes, notifications, and other UI elements popping up on Quest Complete screens, which could ruin the immersion.

Fixed picked-up Stock in Break Narmer missions not appearing in the End Of Mission screen.
- Also fixed Stock earned from Challenges not appearing in the Last Mission Results screen.
- Fixed the Last Mission Results screen for the Sneaky Sabotage Break Narmer mission incorrectly listing the number of Veils broken as 0.
- Fixed the Sarofang Prime disappearing from Voruna Prime's hands after one camera rotation in her Market diorama.
- Fixed cases of overlapping text in the Weekly Initiatives section of the Clan menu.
- Fixed earned Cephalon Simaris standing being doubled in the End of Mission screen. (This was a UI-only issue)
- Fixed Chroma's Elemental Ward ability on-hover description extending out of the screen in the Upgrade and Ability menus.
- Fixed the Alignment badge at the end of The War Within quest covering the “continue” context action.
- Fixed cases of event Alerts having misaligned UI elements in the Navigation screen.

- Fixed a script error when using the randomize button in Operator/Drifter appearance menus.
