Our latest Android hotfix addresses a number of critical performance and launcher ssues.
While we are calling this a hotfix, it is actually a small CERT update (learn more about what that means here). Depending on your Automatic App Update preferences, you may need to manually update the app.
- Fixed an issue where some users would see a black screen immediately upon launching the game.
-
Fixed getting stuck when trying to install the game on cellular data.
- A popup was telling players they must switch to Wi-fi. This was meant to be a recommendation and not a requirement. Apologies, Tenno!
-
Fixes towards improving performance on S20 FE and phones with similar tier of specs.
- This is not a complete fix, but we expect improved performance on devices that were providing a lower performance than their specifications would suggest is capable.
- Fixed the opening cinematic not playing at the start of the Awakening quest.
- Improved performance when navigating the Star Chart.
- Improved performance while walking around the Orbiter.

End of Week One Developer Note: 2/20/26
This update should resolve a number of common issues you have shared with us on the Forums, Discord, and via Google Play Store reviews.
While this is the end of week one, there is of course work to be done! Today's update was able to resolve the issues mentioned above, but we are aware of additional issues that require further testing. These include:
- We are investigating performance issues on Redmi devices.
- Performance and login issues across various devices.
- Outstanding launcher issues that aren't the black screen or the cellular data block.
- More from our Known Issues List.
We appreciate your communication and your patience! The detailed reports and screenshots you've passed along have helped us get to the bottom of these bugs.
