Isleweaver: Hotfix #9

We’ve deployed an update that delivers more of the improvements we outlined in our “Mobile Exclusive Changes Incoming” post from June 20th. This includes Aim Assist changes, Navigation Screen improvements, several UI fixes, and more.

While we are calling this a hotfix, it is actually a small CERT update (learn more about what that means here). Depending on your Automatic App Update preferences, you may need to manually update the app.

iOS Specific Changes & Fixes

Changes

  • Aim Assist Improvements & Changes:
    • Slightly reduced the default Magnetism strength for Aim Assist.
    • Aim Assist: Fixed Aim Assist not properly identifying the Eidolon Teralyst’s weak spots.

  • Navigation Screen Improvements & Changes:
    • Increased the Max zoom on small planets on the Navigation Screen.
    • Adjusted font size for Nodes on the Navigation Screen.
    • Changed the Navigation Screen so that Planet names dynamically move to the upper left side of the screen, and the player’s current planet’s name is always visible on screen.

  • Changed the Corpus hacking minigame so that the cells always rotate clockwise via tap, instead of taking the direction of the player’s swipe into account.
    • Based on feedback, we found that factoring in swipe direction added confusion and slowed down players in a time sensitive sequence.

  • Set default Field of View (FoV) to 52 for fresh installs.
    • Isleweaver Hotfix #8 set the default Field of View to 52 for existing users, but not for new installs.

UI & Improvements Fixes

  • Fixed UI aspect ratio issues with iPad devices, such as the Foundry and Main Menu appearing squished or stretched.
  • Fixed the “Dynamic Island” on iPhones and iPads covering Orbiter Appearance Settings.
  • Fixed the Countdown timer on the End of Mission screen being misaligned.
  • Fixed the ‘TennoGuide’ quest bar in the top right corner of the Orbiter not registering touch input.
  • Fixed the Vertical scroll bar on the left side of the Gear Section.
    • Previously, scrolling through Gear in the Arsenal was more difficult than intended.
  • Fixed Customize Operator Equipment menu to allow players to change the appearance and install Focus Lenses with touch controls.
    • The player can long press & hold the weapon icon to trigger the sub menu for installing Focus Lenses.
  • Fixed Autofire and Automelee not working when a player character is changed in the middle of gameplay.
    • For example, when entering the Undercroft from Duviri and transitioning from Drifter to Warframe gameplay.
  • Fixed missing buttons when piloting a Necramech using touch controls coupled with Manual Melee Mode.
  • Fixed the Navigation UI getting stuck and unable to close after completing Venus, the first Junction on the Star Chart.
  • Fixed Autofire activating when weapons are out of ammunition.
  • Fixed a mask removal sequence during The New War resulting in a broken animation if the player presses the Contextual Action Button too frequently.
