Devstream #94 Overview

Devstream 94 is officially the last Devstream before TennoCon 2017! If you want to get one last look at the Devs (and what they’re working on) before they reappear for TennoLive, you can do so on our YouTube channel.

As always, if you want the short and sweet version, keep on reading:

Housekeeping:

· TennoCon is 21 days away! Learn more and get your tickets!

· A new Multiplayer Captura Contest is live! Enter the Captura Combat contest now!

· The Gift of the Lotus alert is on all platforms for 24 hours!

· Did you watch the Stack Up Prime charity stream? Learn more about this amazing community event from Warframe Parter SlapstickLogic in his Guest Blog.

· The next episode of the Second Stream podcast was recorded after this Devstream, with special guest M.C. I. K.! It will be released next week, so be sure to catch up on past episodes here.

TennoCon 2017

We are less than one month til TennoCon (don’t forget to buy your tickets), so the juiciest reveals are saved for July 8th. If you want a look at what to expect on the big day, here is what the Devs confirmed will be teased at the event:

· Relay upgrades are coming post-TennoCon, but we’ll give you an idea of what’s coming at the Con.

· There are plans for Operator-only missions or mini-games.

· We will be adding more difficult content to the Earth tileset, that ties in to the Top Cow comic book we will be releasing (at TennoCon), and something we have teased on a previous Devstream.

· We have no current timeline on when new Coprus Archwing enemies are coming, but you will see the Archwing system in unexpected ways at TennoCon.

· Next Warframe should be ready to show. No one has correctly guessed her theme yet.

And, of course, there was this tease to cap off the stream:

Prime Vault

Mag and Rhino Prime are exiting the Prime Vault Soon™.

Harrow

Harrow will be arriving before TennoCon, and will bring a mix of familiar and unknown characters in his Quest.

Here’s a look at the Tenno Spear Gun that will be coming with him (on top of the scoped pistol we teased in previous Devstreams). Its secondary fire creates Bullet Attractors on your foes’ heads.

You can see how Harrow’s kit synergizes, what the almost-complete Earth Rework looks like, and how Rebecca fares against Kubrows in full here.

This is what is Alt Helmet will look like:

Friend Notes

You can now add notes to your Friends in your Friends List! You’ll also be able to send a note with Friend requests.

Nox

The enemy from the Oberon Prime Trailer will be making it to the game soon! Shoot his face to shatter his glass helmet and release toxic fumes everywhere – as if he wasn’t already poisoning the battlefield enough.

Below you can see him in action (but be warned that he is currently ez-mode), on top of the new Hallowed Ground effects coming with Oberon.

Oberon spawns grass with every cast, but Oberon Prime spawns ferns:

Grineer Drop Ship

The Corpus Drop Ships have added more life and challenge to Corpus tilesets, so we decided to add one for the Grineer as well! We have no current timeline on when this releases, as they are just concept art for now:

Other Tidbits:

· Lato and Braton Vandals – it is inevitable that they will be brought back. Soon™.

· There will be no new stuff from Baro when he appears at the TennoCon Relay.

· We aren’t ruling out older Primes getting cinematics, but it would need to align with a bigger change, like a Vaulting or something significant.

· Nidus + Octavia Augments are coming “in the future for sure”. We’ll see how much Pablo really loves Nidus.

· The Devs confirmed that there’s no plan for a dedicated Augment slot.

· Still some discussion ongoing about Shield Gating, so we have no timeline to confirm for this feature.

· New Octavia sound packs are coming with Harrow.

Remote Observer: Vol 6.5

With the Remote Observer, we highlight all of the important parts of our update notes so you are free to theorize about what will be revealed at TennoCon. Let us know if you need any more red string.

If you want to see what changes were added in-game in the past 2 weeks, keep on reading:
