We’ve deployed an iOS update that resolves the missing aim reticle with controller, fixes gameplay crashes Titania, and introduces Game Mode. While we are calling this a hotfix, it is actually a small CERT update (learn more about what that means here).
Depending on your Automatic App Update preferences, you may need to manually update the app.
Changes
-
“Game Mode” is now available for Warframe on iOS. Introduced in iOS 18, Game Mode minimizes background activity on iPhones and iPads to allow for smoother gameplay and more consistent framerate on the game you are playing.
- Game Mode also improves the responsiveness of controllers by reducing latency.
- Should you wish to disable Game Mode, swipe up from the bottom edge of your screen to open the Control Center. Tap Warframe Game Mode, and tap the module again to Enable / Disable.
Fixes
- Fixed the aim reticle not appearing when playing with a Controller.
- Fixed a crash that occurred when using Titania’s Dust ability.
- Fixed a loss of functionality caused by swapping from Touch Controls to Controller and back.
-
Potential fix for a rare Launcher crash.
- This Launcher crash is distinct from the resolved crash following Update 38.6.
- Fixed Melee Mode staying on while piloting the Archwing. Archwing controls are meant to override Melee Mode, as the controls are not compatible with Archwing gameplay.
- Fixed the Launcher music playing too early. Now, it begins once Initializing is complete as it does on all other Platforms.
- Fixed a Mod Screen UI problem where after using the search function to find a specific Mod, the player had to drag the Mod to a slot twice to equip it.
- Fixed the Codex showing a Crouch Icon when it should display a Sprint Icon while using Touch Controls.
- Fixed the new Mute button on the Launcher not appearing for iPad device users.
- Fixed an incorrect aspect ratio for Warframe’s Opening Cinematic.
