Welcome to issue 69 of The Remote Observer, Tenno! We hope you didn’t get too soaked in this week’s Dog Days event, and your Liset is now populated with dozens of adorable new toys for your Kubrow or Kavat to play with! Let’s take a look at some of the new additions and changes to Warframe unveiled this week!
This last week has been filled with stories of Tenno soaking one another while a impaired Kela De Thaym continues to throw more and more Executioners into the sunny fray! However, just like summer itself, all things must come to an end!
Tactical Alert: Dog Days will be ending on August 12th at 11:00am ET on all platforms, so you have a little more time to collect those wonderful Nakak Pearls to redeem for some goodies! After the initial release, you can earn even more Pearls by joining the Dog Days Round 4 match! Not only will you earn 50 Nakak Pearls for completing the match, but you will also get an additional Pearl per Executioner you soak!
And the best part? Now your pet Kubrow or Kavat has a new toy to play with if you place a Roller Floof in your Orbiter! You wouldn’t want them to be bored would you?
Make sure you stock up on those Roller Floofs!
We will be re-running Dog Days when the time is right, so don’t stress if you can’t get all the goodies you want!
Our latest update brought a new look to the Loadout UI! The goal was to give you much more information at a glance, rather than only seeing what was included in the loadout with a mouse-over. Now you can easily customize your builds, reorder them, give them custom icons and an easy way to randomize builds for that self-imposed challenge!
As we progress with Warframe Empyrean, The New War and all the other super-secret changes coming down the road, we are constantly reviewing our User Experience, as well as how information is relayed to you, the Tenno playing Warframe. If you have feedback on the new UI changes, or if you have feedback for other parts of the UI, you should make sure you head over to our UI feedback forums, and let us know your thoughts!
Along with UI changes, some of the biggest changes hit our Augments! Over the last few weeks, we have been putting many of the Warframe Ability Augments under the microscope and altering their benefits to bring them in line with other Augments, as well as changes within Warframe itself.
The goal was to provide some more usability to the Augments that see some use and that are tied to powers that are commonly activated. There are other Augments that will be addressed when the base power connected to them is also looked at, but for now, you can find the quite exhaustive list over on 25.6.0 PC Update Thread on the official forums, and see if there is anything you like!
Thanks for stopping by this latest episode of Remote Observer, and don’t hesitate to drop by our Official Forums if you want to see more discussions!
