The Remote Observer: Vol 57

Welcome to issue 57 of The Remote Observer, Tenno! With the addition of the new Atlas Deluxe skin, a few changes and inclusions were added that we thought deserved a bit more of a spotlight! Get ready to Augment those Warframes and go hunt some Thumpers, Tenno!

NEW AUGMENT MODS - AVAILABLE ON PC!

Garuda and Revenant get their first new augments, along with a couple new augments for Khora and Nidus! You want some new pep in your step? Look no further!

  • Dread Ward - (Dread Mirror Augment, available from the Red Veil and Steel Meridian!) Looks like all that blood you are bathing in has some armor value! Gain invulnerability for 5 seconds when turning an enemy into a fancy, body-horror lawn decoration... permanently!

  • Blinding Reave - (Reave Augment, available from Cephalon Suda and the Perrin Sequence!) Coating enemies in mist will now blind them for 10 seconds, as they try to figure out if Revenant vapes or not.

  • Teeming Virulence - (Virulence Augment, available from Steel Meridian and the Perrin Sequence!) As if getting energy back and stacking up on your infested bits wasn’t enough, if you hit 4 or more enemies, you’ll also get a 120% Primary Crit Chance buff for 15 seconds! Stamp, stamp! Bang, bang!

  • Pilfering Strangledome - (Strangledome Augment, available from the Red Veil and Steel Meridian!) Beat the loot out of those fools who stray into the Strangledome! With an additional 65% drop chance, you’ll be stealing that Corpus lunch money in no time!

A TUSK THUMPING GOOD TIME!

Some fixes were made for the newest, four-legged slam dancer to the Plains of Eidolon on PC, and we wanted to let you know how we tweaked this pancake-making sociopath! Here are the changes:

  • More Tusk Thumping! - Not only did we increase the spawn rate, but we also decreased the cooldown timer in Tusk Thumper appearances!

  • Armor Redux! - No more a weird flesh monster, the Tusk Thumpers armor type has been correctly changed to Hulking Armor!

  • Software Upgrades! - We added some fixes to stop the Tusk Thumper despawning when Tenno - rightfully so - took to the hills, as well as extreme damage making it forget how to activate die.exe correctly.

Some other fixes we introduced in the last update are listed below - covering a wide range of issues and Quality of Life changes!

  • Remove Bayonets! - Some Tenno thought that if they could tape a knife to the bottom of their sniper rifle, they could count it as a melee weapon. Not anymore! Mods will no longer apply Melee bonuses to Sniper weapons.

  • I CAST REBRANDING! - Hildryn’s Shield Pillage Ability has been renamed to just ‘Pillage’ as it strips both Shields and Armor! Tooltips and guides have also been changed to reflect this. No misleading names here!

  • A Whole New Woooorrrllldddd! - Dargyns have had some flight training, and now they will adhere to Grineer Transit Authority regulations on altitude, when travelling near the edges of the Plains of Eidolon! No more going Interstellar for you, clones!

CERTIFICATION NEWS FOR CONSOLE TENNO!

A new build was submitted last night for PS4 and XBOX and we are working hard on getting a Nintendo Switch build! Pending certification, our Console Tenno will soon have access to the new Plains of Eidolon remaster, as well as access to new Conservation rewards, an economy remaster and a whole host of other new additions - but watch out for our latest Stompy Boye!

We will keep you posted on the forums when we know more about our Cert Builds, as well as any developments made along the way!

Thanks for stopping by this latest episode of Remote Observer, and don’t hesitate to drop by our Official Forums if you want to see more discussions!
