Catching Up on Devstream 179

This week’s dev discussion is all about Devstream 179, where we gave our first in-depth look at the upcoming Jade Shadows update, a smaller interim update in May, the next Clan Operation, and much more! You can read all about it in our Devstream Overview or just watch the full video here!

Jade Shadows Arrives This June

Nestled between all the deep dives into the Enemy Resistances and Status Rework and quest information is the release window for Jade Shadows. The new named update will arrive in June 2024! That puts at least one more end-of-month Devstream between now and launch, so stay tuned for a whole lot more info and surprises in the meantime.

The May 15 Interim Update

Speaking of things between now and Jade Shadows, we have a small interim update releasing on May 15! This will include a brand-new Nightwave series, Nora’s Mix Vol. 6, as well as two new Adversary weapons (the Kuva Sobek and Tenet Glaxion), and a new batch of TennoGen skins.

Keep an eye out for our Nightwave ending PSA to know when Nora’s Mix Vol. 5 is wrapping up!

Protea Prime Access on May 1

ICYMI: Protea Prime Access is right around the corner. The chronological commando arrives tomorrow on May 1, 2024. Naturally, that means Gauss Prime Access is also ending tomorrow. You can purchase him or pick up his Prime Parts in Void Relics even after his Prime Access has ended.

This changeover also marks the vaulting of Khora Prime. Starting May 1, you will no longer be able to access Khora Prime Parts — as well as her signature Hystrix Prime and Dual Keres Prime weapons — from Void Relics except during new Prime Resurgence rotations that feature her. If you’ve been waiting to pick her up, now’s the time to whip yourself into shape and start cracking those relics!

11 Year Anniversary Events Continue

We’re quickly approaching the end of our 11 Year Anniversary events!

The latest Alert offers the Dex Sybaris burst-fire rifle. You can get yours now until May 3 at 11 a.m. ET. At which point, a whopping three new Alerts will take their place for next week.

Even beyond the last set of Alerts, however, you can still grab the free Dex Nikana from now until the end of the year just by logging into the game.

Prime Resurgence: Ash Prime and Inaros Prime

Ash Prime and Inaros Prime are still available in our latest Prime Resurgence rotation. You can purchase them and their signature Prime Weapons from Varzia Dax using Regal Aya in Maroo’s Bazaar, or acquire Void Relics from Varzia in exchange for standard Aya. You can find Aya in Bounties and Missions in the Void.

What to Play this Week: Nightwave

We warned you last week that now might be a good time to ride the Nightwave and finish ranking up in Nora’s Mix: Vol. 5. We weren’t kidding! Nora’s Mix Vol. 6 will begin on May 15 (alongside our next interim update). That means you have a little over two weeks to finish the current season and spend your Vol. 5 Creds before it vanishes!

The top rewards this time around include the Stelflare Syandana and Naimore Armor Bundle. You can also pick up some useful items, like Orokin Reactors and Orokin Catalysts, by spending your Creds in Nora’s store. Remember: these will be deprecated on May 15 when the new series starts, so you need to spend them before then!
